The oven is an important part of the kitchen, while many designs have cleaning features, others do not have. There are different ways of cleaning an oven, you have to think of those ways that work and are easy. Here are simple and easy steps to clean your oven.

The greatest difficulty many people encounter while cleaning their oven is getting the carbon removed. Carbon is always baked inside of the wall of the oven, unless you have formed the habit of removing it regularly. If you follow these simple steps, you would remove these carbons without difficulty.

Step 1: The most important thing that you need is the baking soda. You have to buy it with an empty spray bottle. You would discover that the baking soda is very cheap. It is even cheaper when you buy them in bulk.

Step 2: After you have purchased the baking soda, use a funnel and place three heaping teaspoons of baking soda inside the spray bottle. Sometimes baking can clog the funnel. If that becomes the case, you can unclog it by adding water.

Step 3: Wash that baking soda contained in the spray bottle by running water into the funnel. Ensure that the bottle is filled with water. When this is done, you would observe that those non-dissolved soda would settle at the bottom of the bottle.

Step 4: when you noticed those non-dissolved soda, shake that bottle very well to ensure that it is well dissolved. When it is dissolved, you would notice that only residues would be left at the bottom of that bottle.

Step 5: before you begin to spray the baking soda, it is advisable to allow the oven to become cold. This would help remove that carbon faster. You can repeat the process different times within a day. It is recommended that you allow the oven to become cold for two reasons. The first reason is the issue of safety. It is better to use it at a time it would not burn your hands. The second reason is containment. When you apply the soda when the oven is hot, it would spray it all over the place.

Step 6: continue to use your oven as you usually do, but continue to spray the wet baking soda to the oven top and sides and do this between meals when the oven is cold. When you apply wet soda at the side of the oven, you would notice that it would break every pieces of carbon. You keep doing this until you have completely removed the carbon. While doing that, do not worry about the baking soda entering your food. It is not harmful, and it is one of the ingredients used in bread preparation.

Step 7: when the oven becomes cold, use a damp cloth to wipe it. You would notice that the baking soda would force the carbon to settle at the bottom of your oven. You can remove everything using the damp water.

Step 8: Always repeat this process until all the carbon in the oven was completely removed. Apart from carbon, other dirt in the oven would be completely removed through this process.
